If you've ever found yourself glued to your screen at 2 or 3 in the morning watching an MPL Malaysia match, you already know the pull of e-sports. It's no longer just kids playing games – it's a legitimate sport with professional athletes, team management, intense training regimens, and prize pools that can run into the tens of millions of US dollars. And like any other sport, where there's a match, there are people who want to bet. At 12huat, we are here to ensure that Malaysian players who truly understand the esports world have a betting platform that matches their knowledge.
Malaysia actually has a proud history in e-sports. Teams like Todak, RSG Malaysia, and Team HAQ have proven that local talent can compete on the international stage. When these teams take part in MPL Malaysia or MSC, the virtual stadium is packed with fans following every round with intense passion. And that is the most meaningful context for betting – when you know the teams, understand the current meta, and know who is in the best form that week, your bet is anything but a guess.
At 12huat, we built our e-sports section with the understanding that e-sports bettors are different from regular sports bettors. They're younger, more tech-savvy, and they want markets that reflect the depth of their knowledge. That's why we offer markets that go far beyond simply picking a match winner.
No e-sports title is closer to the hearts of Malaysian players than Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Since MPL Malaysia launched a few years ago, it has built an incredibly loyal and passionate community. Every week of MPL matches, thousands of fans tune in live – whether at the stadium or through YouTube and TikTok – and the volume of bets placed on 12huat for every MPL match keeps growing each season.
What makes Mobile Legends so compelling from a betting perspective is its pace. Each game runs between 15 and 25 minutes, which means odds shift rapidly during a live match. Players who keep up with the current meta – strong heroes in the latest patch, a team's preferred draft strategies, or the head-to-head record between two sides – have a real edge when making live betting decisions. At 12huat, MLBB live markets are updated every minute based on in-game developments, giving you the opportunity to get in at exactly the right moment.
Beyond MPL Malaysia, 12huat also offers betting on the M-Series World Championship, held twice a year. The tournament brings together top teams from every region – Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and more. When a Malaysian team competes, it becomes one of the most felt moments across the entire local gaming community.
Dota 2 is the e-sports title that has sustained its position at the top of the industry the longest, and The International – the annual tournament with a community-funded prize pool – remains one of the most prestigious e-sports events in the world. The TI prize pool can exceed USD 40 million, making it one of the highest-paying competitive events in the world for several consecutive years.
Dota 2 offers a depth of strategy that is virtually limitless – a hero pool of over 120, countless item combinations for every situation, and matches that can flip completely within minutes. This is what makes Dota 2 so difficult to predict, and also what makes it so compelling to bet on. Players who closely follow the current meta and track team performance records in the DPC League have a solid foundation for making informed bets at 12huat.
Counter-Strike has been around for over 20 years, and with the launch of CS2, the franchise has been reinvigorated with enhanced graphics and refined gameplay mechanics. CS2 Majors are among the most frequently held events on the e-sports calendar, with two Majors each year bringing the global community together.
Valorant is Riot Games' answer to CS – a tactical FPS with a unique element: each agent's individual abilities. Within just a few years of its launch, Valorant has built a strong competitive ecosystem with VCT Pacific, covering teams across the Asia-Pacific region including representatives from Malaysia and SEA. At 12huat, every CS2 and Valorant match comes with markets that reflect the strategic depth of both games – from map winners and round handicaps to which team takes the first pistol round.
How to get started with esports betting at 12huat is quick and straightforward. Register your free account, then make your first deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay or via FPX such as Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM20 and credits are reflected in under 3 minutes. You are also eligible to claim a welcome bonus of up to RM888 on your first deposit.
Once your account has been credited, head to the "E-Sports" section on the platform. Select the game title, then choose the match you want to follow. Click on your preferred odds, enter the amount in MYR, and confirm your bet. For live betting, make sure you monitor the match in real time as odds shift according to the in-game situation. 12huat also offers a Cash Out feature for esports bets, letting you lock in a portion of your winnings before the match ends if the in-game situation becomes uncertain.
One of the advantages of betting on e-sports at 12huat that our members frequently mention is that this platform truly gets the gaming community. The smartphone-responsive interface means you can place bets while watching a live stream on another phone or your computer. Bahasa Malaysia customer support available 24 hours a day ensures you always have help when you need it. And with over 15 active e-sports titles and more than 100 matches every week, there's always something to follow and bet on at 12huat.
E-sports betting is also appealing because of its predictable scheduling. Unlike traditional sports where delays or last-minute cancellations can happen, e-sports tournament schedules are typically set well in advance and rarely change. This makes planning straightforward – you know over a week ahead when an MPL match kicks off, giving you time to do thorough analysis before making your betting decisions. For players who take a more systematic approach, e-sports offers a more structured environment to analyse compared to traditional sports, which involve far more uncontrollable variables like weather or sudden player injuries.

"Been looking for a platform that truly gets MLBB for a long time. 12huat has first tower, first blood, and per-map winner markets – everything you need. The live odds update quickly to reflect what's happening in the game. I once won RM1,800 from a three-match MPL parlay in a single week. Best of all, deposits via Touch 'n Go go through instantly – no waiting around."
"I've been playing Dota 2 for 8 years, so I bet with confidence because I know the meta. 12huat is the perfect platform for me – it has team stats, head-to-head records, and a full range of TI markets. It's the only platform I've found with markets for first Roshan and total gold in-game. Truly built for people who are serious about Dota."
"I follow Valorant VCT Pacific very closely. Paper Rex from Singapore is my favourite team. 12huat has odds for every map, pistol rounds, and ante-post markets for the full tournament. Their customer service also replied quickly when I asked about how postponed match bets are settled. Overall, a very positive experience."
